Rae Kramer, ¡Presente!

Rae Kramer was our friend, vigilant and active for peace and social justice, and was a board member and a co-president at the Center for Peace and Social Justice to the end. We remember her fondly and miss her dearly. Here is her short blurb as a board member and co-president, and a link to Syracuse Peace Council’s photo gallery page in remembrance of Rae.

RAE KRAMER, CO-CHAIR

Rae has lived in Syracuse since 1972 with her husband Lanny (a retired pediatrician) where they raised their two sons, Lucas and Daniel.  Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, she has been active in peace and justice work since high school – sometimes with a checkbook, and other times with voice and presence.  She has spent time on the SPC steering committee and is completely involved in the Plowshares Craftsfair.  She is also a seasonal employee at the Syracuse Cultural Workers(SCW) and a longstanding member of the SCW Peace Calendar committee. Email: sqlarousse@twcny.rr.com
